Privacy policy
What we collect, who handles it, how long we keep it, and how to see, correct or delete it.
Who is responsible for your information
The business behind this site will be named here, with its ABN and a contact address, before launch. A privacy contact address is published with those details. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 for everything described here.
Collection notice
When booking or the enquiry form is open and you use it:
- What we collect: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the time you choose for a call, and anything you write in the form.
- Why: to arrange and hold a call about the website plan, and to reply to your enquiry.
- Who handles it: our booking and form service, and our email provider. We don't sell it or give it to other businesses to market to you.
- If you don't provide it: we can't book the call. You can still read everything on this site without giving us anything.
- Overseas: the services below may store or process it outside Australia.
What we collect
- Call bookings and enquiries, as listed above.
- If your business takes up the plan: the contact details of the people we deal with, billing details, and the content you send for your site.
- Technical request data: our web host processes details of each request, such as IP address, browser and the page asked for, to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We don't use it to identify visitors.
We don't run analytics, tracking pixels or advertising on this site.
Who receives it
- Our booking and form service, GoHighLevel (HighLevel, Inc., a United States company), which receives call bookings and form enquiries once booking opens. Until then, this site collects nothing through forms.
- Our web host, Cloudflare Pages, run by Cloudflare, Inc., a United States company. Requests to the site pass through Cloudflare's network, which operates in many countries.
- Professional advisers or authorities, only where we need legal or accounting advice or the law requires us to disclose something.
Sending information overseas
Your information may be stored or processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate. We choose providers that publish their security and privacy terms, and we remain responsible for how your information is handled.
How long we keep it
- Call bookings and enquiries that don't lead to a sign-up: 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Clients: for the length of the plan, and afterwards for as long as tax and business record laws require.
- Technical request data: handled by our host under its own retention settings, which we don't extend.
Enquiries sent through our clients' websites
Websites we build for removal businesses collect quote requests from their customers. Those requests are delivered to the removal business, which is responsible for them under its own privacy obligations. We hold them only to deliver them, keep the sites secure and count them for the business's monthly report. If you sent a quote request to a removal business, contact that business first.
Keeping it safe
Information travels over encrypted connections. Access is limited to the people who run the service, and we delete what we no longer need on the schedule above.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
Ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, using the contact details published above before launch. We may need to confirm it is you. There is no charge.
Making a complaint
Complain to us first, in writing, and we will reply within 30 days. If you don't hear back within 30 days, or you're unhappy with the answer, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
