What you pay, and when

  1. When you sign up: the A$499 setup fee. It covers building your site from your content.
  2. While we build: nothing more. The site goes live within 14 days of us receiving your complete content.
  3. From the month it goes live: A$249 a month, invoiced in advance. That covers hosting, the SSL certificate, security updates, up to 5 edits and the monthly enquiry report.
  4. After 12 months: month to month. Stay while it works for you, or give notice before the next billing date.

GST: GST may apply. Only a business registered for GST can charge it; one that isn't registered doesn't include GST in its prices2. The operator's registration is confirmed here before launch.

How the plan compares with the other ways to get a website

One plan means no tiers to decode. The useful comparison is with what else a removal business can do. Prices vary too much between providers to quote, so this compares how the costs and the work fall.

Comparison described in general terms. No particular builder or agency is named.
DIY website builder One-off agency build This plan
Upfront cost Low: a builder subscription Usually the largest single cost, paid before or at launch A$499 setup
Ongoing cost Subscription, plus any paid apps or form tools Hosting and maintenance, often billed separately; changes quoted each time A$249 a month, all in
Who does the work You, after hours The agency builds it, then it is yours to maintain We build, host and update it
Quote form by move size Possible, if you set up the fields yourself Depends on the brief Included
Price and area changes You make them Usually billed per change Up to 5 a month included
Security updates Handled by the platform Your job, or an extra service Included
Commitment Monthly or yearly subscription The project fee 12-month minimum, then monthly
When you leave The site usually stays tied to that builder's platform You keep the files You keep your domain and content; the design and code stay with us

Straight answers to the usual doubts

"I already paid for a site that never brought in work."

We can't promise enquiries, and nobody honestly can. What we can do is show you on the call exactly what your site would carry (a quote form by move size, area pages, an insurance page) and then keep it maintained instead of left to go stale.

"I'm not technical."

You don't need to be. You fill in a content checklist and send photos. Changes are a message to us, not a login you have to learn.

"What do I have to supply?"

Your logo, photos of your trucks and crew, the areas and move types you cover, any prices you want shown, and your insurance and membership details. The how it works page has the full checklist.

"What if I want to leave?"

After 12 months, give notice before the next billing date. You keep your domain and your content, and we help you move the domain.

Pricing questions

For context: advertisers pay $11-$163 for a single click on the search "removalists". A website is what those clicks, and your unpaid search visitors, land on.

All questions

Is there a minimum term?

Yes. The plan has a 12-month minimum term from the day your site goes live. After that it runs month to month and either side can end it with notice before the next billing date.

What happens if I want to leave during the first 12 months?

You can end the plan by written notice, and the monthly fees for the rest of the minimum term stay payable. That does not apply if you end it because we seriously breached the terms and did not fix the problem within 14 days of you telling us.

When is the setup fee charged?

The A$499 setup fee is invoiced when you sign up. It pays for building your site and is not refunded once the build has started, except where the law says otherwise.

When does the monthly fee start?

The A$249 monthly fee is invoiced in advance each month, starting from the month your site goes live. You do not pay monthly fees while we are still building.

Does the price include GST?

Prices are shown without GST, because the plan is sold only to businesses. GST is added only if we are registered for GST when we invoice you, and the invoice shows it.

What counts as a content edit?

One change you ask for on an existing page: new prices, a new photo, changed hours, an added suburb. Up to 5 are included each month. New sections, new features or a redesign are quoted first, and nothing is charged without your agreement.

Who owns the domain and my content?

Your business owns its domain, registered in its own name, and all the words, photos, logos and prices it supplies. When the plan ends we give you a copy of your content on request and help you point the domain wherever you choose.

Are there any other fees?

Your domain registration is paid by you to the registrar. Paid advertising, logo design and writing your content are not part of the plan. There are no other fees in the plan itself.
